AVIRT Class Formats

• ​Blended Learning

By using a combination of online learning and instructor-led class sessions, participants combine knowledge and skills to learn how to effectively respond confidently to life-threatening violent situations. 

Anticipated time in class: 1.5 hours​

• Classroom 

The training includes a single in-person component where participants and instructors meet to cover the same comprehensive information provided in the blended class. 

Anticipated time in class: 2.5 hours

 

• All of our classes utilize digital resources, instructor demonstrations, and group skill practice. 

 

• All successful participants receive a valid, digital AVIRT certificate issued by the Health and Safety Institute (HSI). 

• All instructors are trained and authorized to provide this HSI training

• Heart Song Rescue Training Instructors carry credentials
