
American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
(Designed for Lay Responders)
​The 2021 Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED blended learning course enables participants to comprehend and manage multiple types of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is intended for participants needing a certification that meets OSHA workplace safety and other official requirements. This class is presented in a blended learning arrangement and an online assignment is accessed and completed using a mobile device, desktop or tablet. It must be completed before attending the Instructor-led skills pass off session. Upon successful completion of both the assignment and classroom participation, a valid 2 year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED will be issued.
Time to complete online assignment varies from 1.5-3 hours.
​Time in class: 2.25-2.50 hours.
This course meets DOPL and OSHA requirements for workplace safety.​​

American Red Cross Basic Life Support
The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to provide healthcare professionals and public safety personnel with the training and skills and knowledge required to efficiently respond to respiratory and cardiac emergencies in adult, child and infant patients. Upon successful completion of both the online assignment and the skills session, participants will receive a 2-year Basic Life Support digital certificate with unlimited access to their
certificate and training history.

Time to complete online assignment varies from 1-3 hours.
Includes sections that can be tested out of.
Time in class: 2.5-2.75 hours.​
This course meets DOPL requirements for healthcare professionals.

An online assignment accompanies your classroom skill session and must be completed before you attend your appointment.

It is provided at no additional cost.

You will not qualify to attend the skills session if you can not provide completion verification to your instructor at or before class.

You will receive the assignment, instructions on how to access it and other important information in a few of emails from Heart Song Rescue Training and the American Red Cross/Salesforce Automation.​

​Attendance and Rescheduling Policy​

You are expected to attend the class you
are registereing for.

If you fail to attend or notify Heart Song
Rescue Training 24 hours before your scheduled
appointment, there will be no credit or refund.​​

Rescheduling requests will be considered up to 48 hours before your scheduled training.

Rescheduling is offered only once for a fee of $28.00.

The rescheduled course must take place no more than 2 weeks from the date of the original appointment.

Class will begin on time. In all fairness to others, if you arrive more than 5 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule at your own expense.
